The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in red cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base! Now, cut a piece of white cardstock to 5-1/4 x 4″.
Let’s start by stamping the bike in gray at an angle. Rip a piece of copy paper that we will use as a mask. Place it, masking out the majority of the bike and brush on green ink to create a hill across the card.
Place another piece of ripped paper, covering the bike, but going a bit above the bike. Brush on the sky in blue.
Stamp the Mini Balloon in red and purple as if they are flowing behind the bike. Stamp the Mini Grass Sprigs in light green, stamp the Tiny Little Flower in red, and again in purple. Stamp the Tiny Simple Poinsettia in red again in purple. Fill in with Mini Grass Sprig in darker green.
Color the bike with the colored pencils. Draw the strings of the balloons with a silver paint pen ending them in the basket of flowers. Fill in the reflection in each balloon with the pen as well as the spokes of the bike and other metallic elements of the bike.
Stamp the Tiny Happy Bird in brown. Ink up the sentiment in purple, red, and blue ink and stamp in the upper right corner.
For the envelope I just stamped the Mini Balloon three times leaving room for the to and from addresses.
