The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
On the cream curved rectangles die cut, stamp the Tiny Poinsettia in glamorous ink all around the edge. Stamp the Tiny Holly Leaf in shady land ink, rotating the leaf stems toward the flowers. With a gold gel pen, trace along the outside edge of the die cut.
On the top and bottom of the cream scalloped square die cut, stamp the Tiny Poinsettia in Chianti ink and then again on the right and left without re-inking for a variation in color. Stamp the, “Merry Wishes” in glamorous ink in the center of the die cut. With a gold gel pen, trace along the outside edge of the die cut.
Emboss the green cardstock panel and the red curved rectangle die cut.
Glue the green card panel onto the A2 red cardstock panel.
Glue the stamped curved rectangle die cut onto the embossed red curved rectangle die cut.
Glue the stamped scalloped square die cut onto the red stitched square die cut.
To figure out where to poke holes for the brads, lay the green ribbon onto of the main stamped panel and place the red ribbon on top of that. Lay the sentiment die cut on top of the ribbon and get everything the way you want it. Poke holes in the right and left of the sentiment and apply the brads.
Apply foam tape to the back of the sentiment and adhere to the card front over the ribbons. Glue the red panel to the card base and apply the entire sentiment panel. Trim the ribbons to your liking – I made the back a bit longer than the top ribbon.
For the envelope, cut a piece of 8″ x 8″cream cardstock and lay on the Scor- Pal. Apply the Scor-Envi and score at 3″ and 9″, rotate and score at 3-3/4″ and 8-1/4″. Cut out all the notches and fold with the bumps in the inside. Trim straight across the area where the envelope opens. Glue the pieces and round the envelope point with a 1″ corner rounder.
Flip the envelope to the from and lay the largest scalloped rectangle onto the bottom edge of the envelope and trace with the gold gel pen. Stamp the Tiny Poinsettia in glamorous in within that traced area. Stamp the Tiny Holly Leaf in shady lane ink, rotating the stems toward the flowers. Trace over the gold lines and add gold dots to the centers of the flowers.
