Let’s start by cutting our cardstock. You will need an A2 size base, folder at 5-1/2″ x 4/14″ and a single piece of white cardstock cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and a scrap piece of of cream cardstock and vellum to use to cut out tag die.
Place the single piece of cardstock in the embossing folder, making sure to place it for an even transfer of the image. Depending on the folder, if you slip it in all the way to the top, it can cause a gap where there’s no embossing. Place the embossing difusser on top of the folder, placing the hole toward the top of the card to leave room for the tag sentiment at the bottom. You may want to tape it in place.
When you put this through your embossing folder, you’ll adjust the platform for embossing an folder, you’ll place it on a plate, but you won’t put on the top plate (the diffuser is your top plate).
Once it’s out you should have an embossed paper with a un-embossed circle. in the circle stamp the Mini Clay Pot in potter’s clay ink. Stamp it again in morocco ink. Then create a mask on the top of a Post-it note, cut it out and apply to the last clay pot you stamped. Stamp the Tiny Clay Pot in peanut brittle ink going a bit over the die. Stamp again on the other side.
Stamp the Tiny Leaves in all the pots in bamboo leaves ink and pear tart ink. Stamp the Tiny Flowers in rose bud and sweet plum ink. Stamp the Tiny Hummingbirds in rich cocoa ink.
With a blending brush apply Bahama blue ink in the sky and create a shadow with brown colored pencil.
Die cut a 3″ circle die out of printer paper and cover the circle. Hold the mask in place and using a blending brush apply, toffee crunch, peanut brittle, and rich cocoa to the wood-grain.
Die cut the tag from cream cardstock and vellum. This can be done at the same time. Apply unmounted stamp to mount and ink with bamboo leaves ink and stamp on the cream colored tag. Put vellum tag on top and run raffia through the hole and trim. Glue scene to card base and then glue tag to the card near the raffia, letting the rest of the tag remain unglued.
