The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need a top folding “base” that will fit on an A2 single base. To do this cut 1-inch from the 11-inch side of the white cardstock. Turn and cut off 4-1/2″ on the shorter side leaving you with a 10″ x 3-3/4″ piece of white cardstock. Place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 5″. Now, you have made the faux base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
From the violet cardstock die cut the largest fishtail banner.
Place the third from the smallest oval die about 1/2-inch from the top and sides of the left of the card and trace around the inside. Place the fishtail die cut under the oval approximately in the lower 1/3 of the oval and mark the top of the banner with the pencil. Glue it in place, avoiding putting glue on the top of the banner. Open the card and place the oval die back on top of the tracing, secure, and run through the die cutting machine.
From a piece of scrap white cardstock die cut the 4th from the smallest oval. Apply Nautical Blue ink with a make up brush from the outside in all the way around the die cut.
Stamp the Mini Snowman in the center of the oval in Tuxedo Black ink. Along the edge of the oval stamp the Mini Crystal Points Snowflake in Summer Sky Ink, the Tiny Lace Doily Snowflake in Bahama Blue ink and the Tint Pointy Star Snowflake in Nautical Blue ink. edge the oval die cut in Nautical Blue ink to give some contrast.
Open the card and place the stamped oval where it can be seen through the oval cutout of the card top. Mark the area with a stylus and then glue in place.
Edge the entire card with Nautical Blue ink with the ink pad. Edge the blue A2 card panel with Nautical Blue ink. With the same ink, stamp the sentiment to the bottom left on the card front. Glue the stamped piece to the blue card base. Embellish the stamped oval with glitter glue.
For the envelope use the same stamps and inks to stamp along the front of the envelope.
