Instructions

The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!

For the other cuts you’ll need:

  • Cardstock – White cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Cardstock – Blue, cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″

Start by slightly sketching the tree by drawing a slanted line from the top right to the bottom left.

Stamp the Tiny Baubles in whatever color you like, one color per image.

Sprinkle on clear embossing powder and melt with a heat tool.

Stamp the Mini Juniper Sprig in Shady Lane Ink, stamping in between the Tiny Baubles. Fill in with the Mini Juniper Sprig in Verdant Ink, stamping over the ornaments. After you’ve filled in the negative space, wipe over the ornaments to remove the ink on them.

Color in the ornaments if you like with a white ink pen and clear Gelly Roll pen.

Stamp the sentiment toward the top left of the tree in blue ink. Glue the stamped panel to the blue panel and then stamp that to the card base. Add Nuvo Drops to your tree for added texture and effect!

For the envelope, stamp the Mini Star Tinsel across the bottom front and then stamp the ornaments in whatever color you like and decorate with the Gelly Roll Pen.

  1. LOVED the Christmas tree video. This is similar to Rebecca’s card last year, which I also LOVED. This one seems much easier. Thanks!
