Instructions
First, let’s cut the paper. You’ll need to create an A2 card base that is 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. To do that, cut a piece of 8-1/2″ x 11″ white cardstock in half to get 2 pieces of 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ paper. Now, using a scoring board score one of the sheets in half, then do the same for the other piece and now you have 2 A2 size card base.
You will also need a single sheet of white cardstock, a piece of printer paper and a piece of green cardstock that is 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. You’ll also need a small strip of white cardstock that is 1″ x 4-1/4″.
Place the heart die cut side down on the printer paper, centering it from side to side and bringing it down just a bit from the top. You’ll be trimming 1/8″ off all side of the finished stamped cardstock – so keep that in mind. Run that through your die cutting/embossing machine.
Now you’ve created the stencil for the card. Place it over the single sheet of white cardstock. Pick a stamp for each one of the inks and stamp until the heart is filled in. Using a blending brush, brush in the lightest green in all over any white spots throughout the card.
With a paper trimmer cut 1/8″ off all sides of the card.
Attach your sentiment stamp to the mount and apply the green oasis ink and stamp the sentiment in the center of the small strip of paper. Snip the edges with scissors to create a flag look. Center the ribbon on the back of the strip of paper and adhere with a piece of tape. Glue to the top of the heart, then trim the ribbon to the edge of the white cardstock.
Attach the white cardstock to the green cardstock.
