- Paper Trimmer
- Scoring Board
- Cardstock – Cream
- Cardstock – White
- Cardstock – Turquoise
- Envelope White
- Embossing Folder
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
Now, we need some other cuts:
- Cream cardstock, embossed with dots pattern and cut to 3-1/2″ x -1-1/2″
- White cardstock, cut to 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
- White cardstock, cut to 3″ x 1″
- Turquoise cardstock, cut to 3-3/4″ x 5″
Start by embossing a piece of cream cardstock. Now, stamp the sentiment in turquoise ink on the 3″ x 1″ piece of white cardstock. Glue the sentiment panel to the embossed panel. Lay it on the largest piece of white cardstock in the middle from top to bottom and lightly mark the top and bottom of this panel on the white cardstock in pencil. Remove and set aside.
On the white cardstock panel, stamp the small flower in teal zeal in to form a “triangle” below the pencil marks and above the pencil marks, making the “triangles” a mirror image of each other.
Stamp the small flower again in rhubarb stalk ink, placing the flowers beside the blue ones. Stamp the small flower again in pistachio ink right near the other two colors.
Stamp the leaf in bamboo leaves, rotating the stem toward the flowers.
Stamp the small flower grouping in pistachio ink and again in teal zeal ink.
Glue the sentiment panel onto the stamped cardstock n the area that you left blank. Glue this to the turquoise card panel and then glue that to the card base.
Stamp along the flap of the envelope using the same stamps and colors as you used on the card.
