Four Leaf Clover Small 1 × $3.00
Total Weight: 0.0176 lbs
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in chartreuse cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
Position a circle die in the center (left and right) of the white cardstock and bring it down from the top the same distance it is from side to side. Trace the inside of the circle.
Brush the area around the circle you traced with an anti-static powder (I used Brutus Monroe Magic Powder). Stamp the Shamrock and Clover Peg Stamps following the circle in VersaMark ink. I stamped one of them in one direction and the other in the other directions. If you have issues with the ink being clear, you can use the Verdant ink. The important thing is to do your embossing first, but whether you use VersaMark or a colored pigment ink, it’s up to you.
Now, sprinkle on the embossing powder, remove the excess, and melt with a heat tool.
Fill in the rest of the wreath by stamping in Verdant ink, alternating the leaves like you did for the VersaMark. Mount the sentiment on an acrylic mounting block and apply Nocturne ink. Stamp in the center of the wreath. You can trace any area that does not show up well (hidden behind embossed leaves) with a black fine tip pen.
Place cardstock in an embossing folder and place on top of a cutting plate. For the top plate, use an embossing diffuser and situate it so that the wreath shows through the circle cut out. Run through die cutting machine.
Run the banner die through the machine using white cardstock. Stamp the St. Patrick’s Day sentiment on the banner, let dry and fold along the embossed lines. Apply tape to the back and stick to the bottom of the wreath.
Wrap gold ribbon around the card, halfway between the bottom and the wreath and tape on the back. Tie a bit of green ribbon around the gold ribbon.
Apply double-sided tape to the back of the stamped panel and adhere to the gold cardstock. Apply tape to the gold cardstock and adhere to the card base.
For the envelope, open it and stamp the Shamrock and Clover Peg Stamps in Verdant ink and Brilliance Galaxy Gold ink and stamp the open Four Leaf Clover Small Peg Stamp in Nocturne ink starting at the point of the flap and coming down the left side of the front of the envelope.
