Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
On the corner of a piece of paper measuring 1/8″ on the right side and 1/8″ on the bottom and cut along that line, leaving the corner piece.
Place this in each corner of the card and mark. Line up Post-it Notes along these lines, with the notes protecting the inside of the card and leaving a 1/8″ border around the card. With a make-up brush, blend in cantaloupe ink along that border.
Now, place Post-it Notes over the border. Place a scrap paper cut to 4-1/2 x 3-3/4 in the center. While holding in place, stamp the Tiny Lemon Sprig in bamboo leaves and pear tart.
Mask off what you just stamped. And place a scrap paper cut to 4-1/4″ 3-2/4″ in the center. While holding in place, with a make-up brush, blend in cantaloupe ink along that border.
Mask off what you just colored. And place a scrap paper cut to 6″ x 1″ horizontally across the card and the 3″ circle die cut mask on top of the 1″ piece.
Stamp the Mini Lemon Leaf in new sprout and the Tiny Flower in lavender. Trace circle with colored pencil.
Remove both masks and trace with colored pencil around the circle.
Place the smaller circle die inside the circle and trace. Stamp the Mini Lemon Leaf around the circle in bamboo sprout ink. Stamp it again in new sprout ink. Stamp the Tint flower in lavender. Stamp the Tiny Lemon/Lime in yellow and pear tart ink. Stamp the Tiny Lemon Sprig in bamboo leaves ink.
Stamp the “happy Birthday” stamp in the 1″ border area to the right of the circle in bamboo leaves ink.
Mask off so that you can easily color in the 1″ border that runs “behind” the circle “die” with the colored pencil.
Cut on the right and left of the circle in the border area. Run a piece of ribbon through those cuts. Glue a piece of yellow card stock to the inside of the card to cover the ribbon.
For the envelope, stamp the Mini Lemon Leaves on the flap in bamboo leaves and pear tart. Stamp the Tiny Flower in lavender and the Tiny Lemon/Lime in pear tart ink and yellow ink, stamp the Tiny Lemon Sprig in bamboo leaves.
