The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in teal cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
Cut another piece of teal blue cardstock a bit shy of 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4, which will be used to cover up the tape from the ribbon inside the card.
Slip one side of the card base into a dots embossing folder and run through the machine. On a scrap piece of mixed media paper (it will look more weathered when torn than regular cardstock) that is at least 5-1/2 inches wide. Draw two inches 2 inches apart and stamp the snowflakes in the various shades of blue in between those lines. With the Stardust pen draw squiggle marks throughout the snowflakes. Tear along the lines.
On another piece of mixed media paper (just to keep the paper color consistent) die cut a rectangle. Stamp the sentiment in the middle using paradise teal ink.
Glue the stamped border to the teal card base, then glue the sentiment rectangle to the torn border, offsetting it a bit.
Wrap a ribbon around the card base and tape to the inside of the card.Glue the teal piece of cardstock over the tape to cover it. Tie a pow and glue it to the front on top of the ribbon.
Using the 1″ corner rounder, punch all four corners of the card.
For the envelope, stamp the snowflakes in all shades of blue across the bottom of the front of the envelope.
