The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in kraft cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 4-1/4″ mark on the short side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 5-1/2″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cut:
Cardstock – Cream cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
Place tape at the top and sides of the cream cardstock. Place a 2-1/2″ circle die between the tape and move the circle until it’s evenly spaced. Place a piece of tape across the bottom, placing it so that it’s evenly spaced like the top and sides.
Place a piece of tape at the bottom of the card base.
Trace the inside of the circle die with a pencil. Mount up the sprig stamp and ink it in black. Stamp 3-4 times around the circle. Stamp the Mini Honeybee Queen Peg Stamp in the center. Let dry. Erase the pencil lines.
Using a make up brush, brush on vintage photo ink in the corners and along the sides of the square.
Brush on vintage photo in the bottom rectangle. Let dry and apply anti-static powder. Mount up the honeycomb stamp and ink it up in embossing ink. Stamp in the bottom rectangle. Carefully remove all the tape.
Mount the sentiment, apply embossing ink and stamp on a piece of cream scrap paper. Apply gold embossing powder to the sentiment and honeycomb and melt with a heat tool. Cut the sentiment out with a die.
Using the Quickie Glue Pen trace the main vines in the wreath, add dots to the area around the wreath and the thorax of the bee. In addition, trace the square and the top and bottom of the rectangle. Apply embossing powder and melt with a heat tool.
Glue the stamped matte to the card base. Add 3D foam tape to the back of the sentiment and adhere to the center of the honeycomb border.
For the envelope, stamp the Mini Honeybee Queen in the center of the envelope flap and add some Quickie Glue to the thorax of the bee, apply gold embossing powder, and melt with a heat tool.
