Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in dark blue cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
To create the sheet that we are going to stamp on, the best thing is to follow the instructions above with a sheet of white cardstock. Take one of those sheets and cut it in half, then take off 1/4″ of each side, so your finished panel will be 5-1/4″ x 4″.
Tear a piece of scrap paper in a hilly way. Arrange it on the white panel at the bottom in a way that the scrap paper looks like a hill and get a spot that it somewhat flat.
Brush on sand ink. Using the other part of the ripped paper place it on the area that you just colored to create a mask. Mount the jar stamp and place small pieces of paper over the jar’s logo and other parts of the inside of the jar stamp. Ink up the stamp in nautical blue ink. Stamp it at a pretty drastic angle, but not quite flat.
Create another hill below the first hill that you made with a section of the scrap paper you tore earlier. Lightly brush on rich cocoa ink.
Stamp the Mini Crab in Morocco ink at the bottom of the second hill and the Tiny Crab near the jar. Create a mask for the jar and apply. Stamp the Tiny Crab as if it’s coming out from the bottom of the jar. Stamp the Mini Twisted Shell in shades of purple at the top of the lower hill. Stamp the Mini Sea Fan around the jar as if the jar has landed in a grove of sea fan. Stamp the Mini and Tiny Sea Turtle in olive ink.
Stamp the following: Tiny Snail Shell in rich cocoa ink, Tiny Clam Shell in olive ink, Tiny Seashell in pistachio ink, Tiny Sand Dollar in peanut brittle ink, and the Tiny Starfish in sweet plum ink. Continue filling until you like it.
Apply the mask to the jar again and brush blue ink all around the jar and a bit of yellow at the top left of the card.
Using a ZIG Glue Pen Fine Tip Two Way trace along the top of both hills. With a Quickie Glue Pen create dots all over the lower hill. Sprinkle with gold glitter and tap off excess.
Gently squeeze Glossy Accents inside the jar, poking out any air bubbles with a needle. Allow to dry over night. Stamp sentiment in nautical blue ink.
Glue card to dark blue card base.
