The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 4-1/4″″ mark on the short side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 5-1/2″. Now, you have a base!

For the other cuts you’ll need:

• Cardstock – White, cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″,  circle die 3-1/4″, and smallest banner
• Cardstock – Black, cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (embossed), and middle banner

Glue the embossed black panel to the card base, then glue the white panel to that.

On top of the circle die cut place a 2-5/8″ die and trace the inner circle. Stamp the Heron in Black Soot toward the right inside the tracing.

Tiny Lotus Flower in Pink Peony, clean and stamp again in Picked Raspberry. Stamp off or stamp again without re-inking for a variation in color.

Stamp the Tiny Lotus Seed Head in coffee about three time, rotating the stem toward the flowers.

Stamp the Tiny Lily Pad in Fern Green ink, nestling the leaf in amongst the flowers and also stamp off or stamp without re-inking to get a lighter green and to fill in.

Stamp the Tiny Koi in Tiger Lily ink at the base of the Heron.

Place the die back on the tracing and trace with a black marker from one end of the half-wreath to the other. Erase the line.

Color in the flowers using Pink Rose and Hot Pink colored pencils. Brush the left side with a blending brush and Forget-Me-Not ink.

Add foam tape to the back of the die cut. Remove the backing paper and center and adhere it to the front of the card.

Stamp the sentiment onto the white banner and then glue it to the black banner and glue that to the card front halfway between the circle die and the bottom of the white card panel. Add three black Nuvo Drops among the flowers.

For the envelope, across the bottom of the front, stamp the flowers, seed head and leaves in the colors we’ve already used. Color in the flowers.
