Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
The other cuts that you’ll need is:
- Black Cardstock – 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Mixed Media Paper – 5-1/4″ x 4″
De-stick the painter’s tape by pouncing it on your pants, shirt, or other cloth. Adhere the tape to the top and bottom of the mixed media paper, running it evenly along the top and bottom edge.
Drag the ink pads across the paper horizontally in this order:
- Fired Brick
- Carved Pumpkin
- Mustard Seed
- Mowed Lawn
- Blueprint Sketch
- Cracked Sapphire
- Wilted Violet
Spritz with water, removing excess with a paper towel. Dry with a heat tool.
Stamp all three stamps from the set along the edge of the tape in nocturne ink. Dry with a heat tool. Remove the tape and stamp the sentiment below the border. Apply Micro Glaze to the stamped border.
Glue to the black cardstock and then glue to the card base.
For the envelope, use a new piece of painter’s paint and apply a bit above the lower part of the envelope. Drag the Distress Inks across the same as the card and stamp in black. Seal with Micro Glaze.
