Instructions

The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!

Next, cut a piece of mixed media paper to %-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Then die cut, using two of the nested frame dies a piece of white, white core paper. Then, cut a piece of vellum the same dimensions of the white die cut frame.

On your craft mat, spread some of each of the three Distress Oxide inks. Pick one to start with and spritz with water. Pounce the mixed media paper in it and then dry with a heat tool. Do that for the remaining two colors, being sure to absorb with a paper towel any muddy colors on the paper and on the craft mat.

Tape the vellum to your work surface with purple tape and stamp the sentiment in the center with Brilliance graphite black ink. Allow to dry. Stamp the Mini Magnolia Flower in Brilliance blue, pink, and purple ink around the sentiment. Stamp the Mini Leaf in Brilliance ivy ink, rotating the stems toward the flowers. Then, finish off with the Mini Sprig in graphite black in. Let dry.

With the vellum still in place on your table, run a bead of glue close to the inside edge of the back of the border and lay on top of the vellum. Remove the tape. Flip over and trim away and vellum. Adhere 3D tape to the back of the border and then stick to the mixed media paper. Glue to the card base.

For the envelope, stamp a border using the same stamps and inks across the bottom front of the envelope.
