  • Watercolor Paper – 8-1/2″ x 3-1/2″
  • Spray Bottle – Water

The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need a slimline base in white cardstock. So, to make the base use an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock and four inches off the 11-inch side. Then score in the middle on the 7″ side. Now, you have a slimline base!

For the other cuts you’ll need:

  • Watercolor Paper – 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
  • Cardstock – Blue

Divide the watercolor paper in three sections (8″/3) on the long side, marking each section with a pencil line across the 3-1/2″ part of the card. The reason why we’re dividing it at eight inches is because we will have a quarter inch border.

Cut a piece of Masking Magic to 3″ x 8″. and center it on the watercolor paper. Rub some Salty Ocean ink on an acrylic block and spray a bit of water on it and then brush that on the watercolor paper that is not covered by the Masking Magic.

Remove the mask and in the block at the top create a grouping of pots with Wild Honey and Vintage Photo inks. Stamp the Tiny Flower Sprinkling in Picked Raspberry several times without re-inking and Dusty Concord, also several times without re-inking. Stamp the Tiny Stiltgrass in Peeled Paint.

Move to the center section and stamp the Mini Barrel in Vintage Photo ink. Stamp the Mini Grass Sprigs in Peeled Paint ink and the Tiny Little Flower in Fired Brick Ink, clean and stamp again in Mustard Seed ink. Stamp the Tiny Simple Poinsettia Smaller in Salty Ocean ink.

Move to the bottom section and stamp the Mini Clay Pot and Saucer in Wild Honey ink and the Tiny Simple Clay Pot in Vintage Photo ink. Stamp the Tiny Flower Sprinkling in Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac ink. Stamp the Tiny Stiltgrass in Peeled Paint. Stamp the Tiny Hummingbirds in Black Soot ink. Stamp them in all three sections.

Apply water to brush and “paint” on top of the stamped images, not a lot just to move the ink around. Create a shadow for the pots with Wild Honey and Vintage Photo ink. Add a bit of Fired Brick and Peeled Paint to the hummingbirds.

Stamp the sections of the sentiment under each section of the card in Black Soot ink.

Glue the watercolor panel to the card base.

For the envelope place a piece of blue cardstock on the Scor-Pal with the 8-1/2″ side at the top and score at 2-1/2″ and 6-1/2″. Rotate to the long side and score at 1-1/2″ and 10-1/2″. Snip the corners, fold with the bump on the inside. On the top flap, use a corner rounder to fancy up the flap. Glue together and add a bit of double sided tape to the flap.
