The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 gate fold base in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score if you’re using a Scor-Pal just score at the lines marked with dots, otherwise score at 2-1/8″ and 6-3/8″.
For the other cuts you’ll need:
On the cream cardstock panel stamp the Mini Mum in cantaloupe ink, clean the stamp and then stamp in morocco ink, clean again and stamp in rhubarb stalk ink. Stamp the Mini Leaf in olive grove ink, rotating the stem toward the flowers. Stamp again without re-inking for a variation in color. Stamp the Tiny Mum in tuxedo black ink.
On the die cut tag, repeat the stamping in the same colors that you just did for the panel, leaving the center open for the sentiment.
Place both stamped pieces on some scrap paper and with a make-up brush, blend rhubarb stalk ink around the edges of the panel and tag (from outside in).
Stamp the sentiment on the tag in tuxedo black. Stamp the Big Robin in the same ink next to the sentiment. Color the breast of the bird with a water brush and morocco ink.
Glue the stamped panel to the orange cardstock. We’ll be cutting this panel in half longways. Measure a piece of ribbon so that when taped to the backside of orange cardstock can wrap around half (after we cut) the card panel. Tape a piece on the right and left and leave to hang. Using a Uni-Ball Signo gold gel pen, trace the embossing lines of the die cut on the stamped panel.
Place a light pencil mark at the top and bottom of the card (short side) at 2-1/8″. Pulling the hanging ribbon toward the center of the card, glue the card panels to the brown cardstock. Cut down the center on the short side of the card.
Wrap and tape the ribbon around the panel that they are taped to. Glue a panel each to the “gates” of the card base.
Glue the yellow circle to the brown circle. Attach the ribbon to the tag and cut ends at an angle. Trace the sentiment with a Stardust gel pen. Glue the tag onto the yellow circle. Glue the left side of the circle to the left “gate”.
For the envelope, stamp the set in the same colors as we did for the card down the flap.
