Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
- Cardstock – White, cut to 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″ and a small piece for die cut
- Cardstock – Purple, cut to 5-1/2′ x 4-1/4″
- Cardstock – Yellow, cut to 3-7/8′ x 5-1/8″ and a small piece for die cut
- Cardstock – Sage, cut to 3-3/8″ x 4-5/8″
Emboss the sage cardstock with an embossing folder of your choice – I’m using a swirly one from Provo Craft. Using the make-up brush apply majestic violet ink around the edge.
Place a ruler from the top right corner to the bottom left corner and draw a line.
Stamp the Mini Grapes in vivid chartreuse in the lower right triangle of the paper you just marked. Clean the stamp and stamp again in majestic violet ink. Stamp the Mini Leaf in leaf green ink, rotating the stem toward the grapes. Stamp the Mini Berry Branch in potting soil ink. Stamp the Mini Slinky Loop in watering can ink. Cut along the pencil line. Using the make-up brush apply majestic violet ink around the edge of the stamped triangle.
On the scalloped circle stamp the same motif that we just stamped on half of the rectangular panel, using the same inks. Set aside.
On a white piece of scrap cardstock stamp the sentiment in nocturne ink. Let it dry. Fussy cut the sentiment.
Now, let’s get to gluing! Glue the yellow panel onto the purple panel, then glue the stamped triangular piece to the sage embossed panel. Wrap purple ribbon around all the glued panels in the upper third of the card.
Glue the stamped scallop onto the yellow scallop and the sentiment onto the stamped scallop. Place some 3D tape on the back of yellow scallop and adhere to the card on top of the ribbon.Glue it all to the white card base.
For the envelope place a piece of wide purple tape in the area for the return and to address. Stamp just as we did the card all over the entire envelope. Edge the envelope with the make up brush in purple ink. Remove the tape.
