This card was inspired by a card by Elaine from the blog, Craft-E-Place. You can go directly to her blog post here: http://craft-e-place.blogspot.com/2016/05/two-cards-one-stamp-set.html
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
Die cut 3 rectangles (for 1 card) out of cream cardstock.
To create an embossed image, rub anti-static powder on the die cut. Ink up with VersaMark and stamp one image on each rectangle. Sprinkle on embossing powder and melt with a heat tool.
Rub Distress Ink on an acrylic block and with your water brush add a bit of water to the ink and paint the flowers and leaves (if appropriate).
To create a non-embossed card ink up the flower part of the stamp in the color of your choice and the leaves (if applicable) in green ink. If you’re using peg stamps, then you’ll just ink up the flower in the ink color of your choice and you’ll draw in your stems with a watercolor pencil. Stamp one flower per each rectangle die cut.
Overlap two of the rectangles and glue those together and then space those on your card base so that the same space is from left to right and the top. Remember, if you want to add a sentiment, you’ll want to glue the first two panels closer to the top. Once you get the first two down, add foam tape to the third and place it overlapping the two glued to the card base.
Add a sentiment if you like.
