Cut white card stock in half, then score and fold to create an A2 card base (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″).
On another piece of white card stock stamp the Basket in pinecone ink. Stamp the basket again at the top (sticky edge) of a Post-It note and cut out to create a mask.
Stamp the Tiny Leaf, as if it’s coming out of the basket. Now, place the basket mask over the basket.
On the top of a Post-it Note, create several masks of the large and small gourds, corn, and leaves. Working within the basket – stamp the Mini Stripe Squash in grape ink. Mask it and stamp other vegetables, masking as you like, Baby Striped Gourd in burgundy, Mini Stripe Gourd in Orange, Mini Sprig in bark, and Corn in topaz.
Once you’ve filled the basket as you like, fill in around the gourds with #714 Light Green watercolor pencil and brush with a waterbrush. Leaving all the masks in place, brush on summer sky ink above the basket, a bit of cantaloupe in the center, and desert sand at the base of the basket. Fill in around the bottom of the basket with #704-Brown watercolor pencil and spread with a waterbrush.
Now, to make the squares. I used Nestabilities Classic Squares, but you can use what you have. Using the 3rd from the largest die, center around basket and cut. Using the 2nd from largest die, cut out a square from the designer paper. Center basket on designer paper and glue.
Stamp the Mini Corn in grape, mask and stamp again in topaz, mask and stamp in orange. Stamp Mini Leaf in green tea. Brush on back ground using the same Memento inks as above. Using the 3rd from the smallest die, center and cut. Use the 4th from the smallest die and cut a square from the designer paper. Center corn on designer paper square and glue.
Stamp the “Happy Thanksgiving” in pinecone ink. Stamp the Tiny Baby Stripe Gourd in grape and the Tiny Leaf in green tea. Brush on Memento inks as above. Using the 3rd from the smallest die, center and cut. Use the 4th from the smallest die and cut a square from the designer paper. Center corn on designer paper square and glue.
Measure and cut pearlized paper to fit front of white card stock. Stamp Mini Leaf and Mini Sprig in gold and silver inks all around the edge of the pearlized paper. Let air dry or use heating tool to speed up the process. Glue to card base. Glue all three squares onto the pearlized card stock, and add pearls. With a ruler edge card with gold paint marker.
And that’s it! Now you have a lovely card filled with a delicious Fall harvest and ready to share.
