Instructions
Let’s start by getting our paper ready. Create card base that when folded is 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Cut a piece of patterned paper to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ and a piece of white cardstock that is 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ and a piece of white cardstock to 1″ x 4-1/4″.
On the white cardstock stamp the Mini Kite in each of the ink colors. Stamp the Tiny Kite Tail at the base of the kite. Keep in mind where you place the lower kites to leave room for the 1″ sentiment cardstock.
Create masks (stamp at the top of a Post-it Note and cut out) for all the kites and apply. Create a stencil to make the clouds or use a cloud stencil you may own. With a make up applicator brush rub on the blue ink, moving the stencil to create clouds. Make the blue ink pad and rub it along the edge of the cardstock.
On the cardstock strip, stamp the sentiment in Bahama blue ink. Take the ink pad and rub it along the edge of the cardstock. Add rhinestones on each end.
Punch a small hole at the base of each of the kites. Run a piece of raffia baker’s twine into the hole and tape on the backside to hold it down. Do that with each one of the kites. Let the other ends of strings run off the card a bit. Gather the strings at the bottom and tape. You’ll cover this with the sentiment strip. Glue the ends of the cardstock strip to the patterned paper and attach the rhinestones to each end.
