The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!

Now, for a few more cuts:

  • Turquoise cardstock cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
  • Mixed media paper cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″

Let’s begin by stamping the sentiment in forget-me-not ink in the lower left of the card. Mount the jar stamp on an acrylic block, ink up just the outside and top of the jar, but not the logo on the inside or the jar lid. Stamp it in the same color just above and to the right of the sentiment.

Mount the poppies stamp on an acrylic block and ink up only the flowers in carnation red ink. Stamp it in the center and turned slightly to the right.

Mount the iris stamp and ink up on the flower in majestic violet ink and stamp in to the left of the poppies and more toward the jar opening.

Mount the frilly poppy stamp on the acrylic block and ink up the flower in vibrant fuchsia and the stem and bud in leaf green ink. Stamp it to the right under the poppy flower group, just above the jar lid.

Create masks for the iris and poppy group and apply. Ink up just the flower again of the poppy in pink peony ink. Stamp to the left of the iris.

Mount the fern stamp to an acrylic block and ink up with leaf green ink. Apply masks to poppy group and stamp between the two poppy flowers and the third in the poppy flower grouping.

Apply mask to the iris and stamp the fern again between the poppy and poppy grouping, with the stem right on top of the iris mask. Stamp the fern again just under the iris at the jar rim. Apply a mask on the single poppy on the right of the jar and then stamp the fern on top of the mask and pointing downward. Stamp the fern again on the same mask, but up at the top of the poppy. Remove the masks.

Mount the vine stamp and ink up with leaf green ink. Stamp on the top left side of the cardstock, the top right, down the sides and a bit at the top, rotating the stamp with each impression.

Stamp the Mini Wisteria Flower in majestic violet ink, the Tiny Wisteria Flower in violet ink. Stamp the Mini Wisteria Leaf in leaf green ink. Stamp the Mini Wisteria Tendril in coffee ink.

Now, color in the flowers with a matching watercolor pencil. Draw in leaves in the jar. Color in the jar with a blue pencil. Run a blue pencil around the edge of the card up to the flowers and a green pencil along the edge where the flowers are. Pencil in a shadow in blue for the jar on the bottom of the jar on the right side and add a little yellow to the upper left side of the card.

With a water brush move the color around everywhere you used the watercolor pencils.

Trace the edges of the flowers, the Wisteria Tendrils, and anywhere you want to highlight in silver Wink of Stella.

Let card dry. Adhere to turquoise base and adhere to white card base.

For the envelope, stamp the leaf spray stamp along the flap and then all the stamps from the Wisteria Frame set in the same colors as the card.
