Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in XXXX cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
- Cardstock – White, you’ll need 2, A2 size panels.
- Cardstock – Purple, cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
Using the Spellbinders rectangle die to cut through 2 pieces of white cardstock. Using the Spellbinders borders die, cut one of the white cardstock pieces vertically in the center of the panel. Place this die cut on top of the other piece of cardstock lining up the straight edges and mark the narrowest part of the die cut. Place the T-square and draw a line down. We will stamp to the right of this line.
On the border cut piece, stamp the sentiment in Purple Delight ink. using the Signo Silver pen create stitches around the die cut.
On the other panel stamp whichever flower stamps you want with whichever ink. Follow up with the Mini Leaf stamp in green ink, rotating the leaf stems toward the flowers.
Glue the sentiment die cut to the stamped panel. Add stitch marks to the stamped panel with the silver gel pen.
For the envelope, stamp just like you did for the card all along the front bottom.
