Instructions
First, we will cut our card stock for stamping and our card base. Laying the white card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 5 1/2″. Now you have two, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ pieces of card stock. Laying the card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 4 1/4″. Do the same to the other piece. Now you have four, A2 size (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) pieces for stamping. Okay, now for the card base, laying the off-white card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 5 1/2″. Place one of these horizontally on the Scor-pal and score down the middle (look for the asterisk). Do the same to the other piece. Now you have two, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (A2) card bases!
Using the Mini Azalea Peg Stamp stamp in purple, then in pink, and again in pink without re-inking. Clean between stamp between purple and pink inks. Do this group stamping around in a wreath shape. You’ll want five groups to start with. Go back in and fill in with more flowers if needed. Stamp the Mini Bird’s Nest in brown. Create a mask for the bird’s nest by stamping on the top of a Post-it Note and cutting out. Place mask over the nest. Stamp Mini Leaf in green.
Attach unmounted stamp to acrylic mount. Stamp in brown in the lower left side of card. Stamp Big Robin beside sentiment in brown. Fill in breast and bill and use water brush to spread watercolor.
