Instructions

The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in kraft cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!

For the other cuts you’ll need:

  • Cardstock – White, cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″

The first thing we will do is cut the Scor-Tape sheets to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. Apply this to the front of the card base. Leave the release paper on it.

On the white cardstock place the circle die in the center and trace around it.

We are going to make a laurel wreath, so sort of a C-shaped wreath and we will stamp a sentiment in the open section of the wreath. The goal will be to make the wreath fuller in the bend and less full coward the end points. Stamp the Scallop Shell Large Mini Peg Stamp five times around the circle in Paradise ink. Stamp the Stamp Conch Shell Mini Peg Stamp in Charming Pink ink. Stamp again without reinking for a variation in color. Stamp the Starfish Large Mini Peg Stamp in Monarch ink and once again stamp the second impression without reinking. Stamp the Babylon Shell Tiny Peg Stamp in Warm Breeze ink. Stamp the Twisted Shell Small Tiny Peg Stamp in Summertime ink. Stamp the Soft Coral Mini Peg Stamp in Verdant ink, rounding out the wreath. Stamp multiple times without reinking for a variation in color.

Erase the pencil line and ink up the sentiment stamp in Paradise ink, stamping in the open section of the wreath.

Remove the release paper and place the stamped panel on the Scor-Tape. Sprinkle sand on the card and press down all around the stamped panel. Run your finger around the perimeter of the card to remove excess sand.

Apply Nuvo Drops to the wreath. It’s best to make the Nuvo Drops warming up before using – so place the bottle between your legs, in your bra, in your waistband, basically anywhere it’s warm. Holding the bottle straight up and down squeeze , release ad watch the little kiss settle out into a nice, round drop.

For the envelope, stamp the sentiment in Paradise ink at the bottom front and then stamp the Starfish Large Mini Peg Stamp in Monarch ink, stamping without reinking for a variation in color. Stamp the Babylon Shell in Warm Breeze ink and the Twisted Shell in Summertime ink. Apply the Bubbles stencil and brush on Summer Sky ink over the entire envelope.
