Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
- Cardstock, Green – cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Cardstock, White – big enough for a die cut banner and circle
Take the piece of white cardstock and die cut the largest banner from the set as well as at least the edge of the banner that you’ll use as a template to know where to clip the banner so that it will fit an A2 size card.
On that same piece of paper, trace a circle die (about 2-1/4″ wide). Pick a Mini Leaf Peg Stamp and a green ink and stamp on the line, not straight out from the line, but more in line with it. Choose another Mini Leaf Peg Stamp and another green ink and do the same, filling in and lastly stamp the Tiny Leaf Peg Stamp. We won’t us the Mini Sprig that’s in this set.
Stamp the Big Robin at the inside bottom of the wreath in coffee ink and color in with the appropriate colored pencil colors.
Grab a circle die that’s bigger than your wreath and die cut the wreath. Go back and fill in with leaf stamps if necessary.
Place the banner die cut on the card and with the smaller end piece, place it so it fits on the front and then trace with a pencil and cut out with scissors. Stamp the sentiment in VersaFine Clair ink on the banner.
Now glue everything on to the card base – first the green panel, then the wreath, centering it at the top and sides, and lastly the banner, placing it from the bottom about the same spacing as the wreath is from the top.
Squeeze three drops of Crystal Nuvo Drops in each corner of the banner and set aside to dry.
For the envelope, stamp the leaves in various green inks all around the front of the envelope.
