Lawn Fawn Stamp Shammy 1 × $8.75
Total Weight: 0.06 lbs
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
Emboss both blue cardstock pieces , flip over and tape together. Die cut all the circles. You’ll need a 3″ circle in dark blue, a 2-1/2″ circle in cream, a 1-1/2″ circle in dark blue, and a 1-1/8″ circle in cream.
Stamp the Mini Nativity Peg Stamp in the center of the smallest circle and apply foam tape and adhere to the next largest die cut. Set aside.
On the largest cream die cut stamp the peg stamps in whatever order you like using all the blue inks from the list. Glue this stamped die cut to the largest die cut and then glue the nativity circles to the center of the stamped circle.
Wrap ribbon around the embossed panels, covering up the joining points and tape to the backside. Tie a knot around one of the ribbons to create a quick “bow.” Glue the embossed panels to a card base and then glue the circle panels to the front, over a portion of the ribbon.
For the envelope, stamp across the flap in the ink colors of your choice.
This is the original card by Renee Lewis from which I got the idea for my card. Her card is square and does not use the Winter Night Sky Peg Stamp Set.
