- Cardstock – Burgundy
- Cardstock – Green
- Watercolor Pencils
- Waterbrush – Detailer
- Tape
- Embroidery Floss
- Needle
- Button – Wooden
- Paper Distresser
Instructions
Cut the white card stock to 3 10/16″ wide by 4 15/16″ tall.
Stamp Jumbo Conifer in khaki to create a tree shape. Stamp just the tip of the Jumbo Conifer again in bamboo leaves.
Stamp the Partridge Block in pinecone, the Tiny Pear in burgundy, the Tiny Sprig in pinecone.
Brush edges of card stock with espresso truffle and fill in the sides of the tree with #739 watercolor pencil. Fill in the base of the tree with #704 watercolor pencil. Brush all watercolor penciling with a waterbrush. Dry brush the inside of the tree with new sprout.
Scuff the edges of the white card stock with a distresser tool.
Cut the green card stock to 8 1/2″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall, score at the half-way point, and fold.
Cut the burgundy card stock to 4 1/4″ wide by 5 1/2″ tall. Scuff edges with distresser tool.
Glue stamped card stock to burgundy card stock. Run the piercing tool along the edge of the white card stock and stitch with embroidery floss and tape ends to prevent it from coming undone.
Run through an embossing machine to flatten. Rough up embroidery thread with your finger to bring it “back to life.”
Glue burgundy card stock to green card stock base.
Stitch button and glue to card.
