Create a card base that is 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″. To create the die for stamping the inside, cut a piece of copy paper to the same dimension, but take off less than 1/8″ from the long side.
Open the card front and place the copy paper on top, lining up the right side and top.
Place the dies on the card and run through machine.
Open the card and place the copy paper inside, lining up the right and top. Using the pink and red inks, stamp the flower all over the stencil, making sure to go off the side of the stencil. Then, stamp the leaf in green, stamping without re-inking for a variation in color. Lastly, stamp the double heart in red.
Taking a cloth or sponge lightly rub green ink throughout the entire heart. This will define the shape and fill in any white space for a more pleasing look.
Stamp each of the smaller hearts with a sentiment and then stamp the double heart in red. Now, rub the insides of the smaller hearts with just a little bit of red.
With a red pencil and ruler create stitches along the entire card including the large heart.
Stamp the three hearts down the spine of the card in red. Die cut 2 small hearts, but place the die slightly over a folded piece of cardstock to create a heart that opens. Stamp one single-layered card.
Attach the heart flaps and tie card spine with baker’s twine.
To finish the card, stamp the sentiment in red and add sparkle to the flowers as well as to the sentiments with a gel glitter pen.
