XOXO 1 × $3.50

The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts you’ll need:
Create out 5, 1″ circle die cuts from white paper. In black ink stamp the Mini and Tiny Seahorse Peg Stamps on three of the die cuts. Stamp the XOXO Mini Peg Stamp on one of the die cuts and Love You on the other.
Using the rest of the peg stamps in the set, decorate the die cuts stamping the flowers and leaves how you wish using the other colors of ink in the list. Brush a die cut in a different color – one in blue, purple, green, and yellow. You’ll do 2 die cuts with the same ink. Adhere foam tape to the back of each and set aside.
On the 5-1/4″ x 4″ piece of white cardstock lay the next size up circle die on it and brush on the same colors, creating 5 bright circles of color.
Stamp the entire set all over the card, even over the colored circles. I did mine with the Mini Seahorse in yellow, the Tiny Seahorse in blue, the Tiny Starfish in purple, the Tiny Flower in green and purple, and the sprig in blue.
Stock the die cut on top of the colored circle placing them on alternating colors.
Wrap ribbon around the stamped panel and adhere to the back with tape. Glue the stamped panel to the blue cardstock and then glue that to the card base. Squirt Nuvo drops three times above the XOXO and throughout the stamped background. Brush Wink of Stella throughout the each circle.
For the envelope just stamp a small group right in the flap of the envelope using all the stamps and inks we used to stamp the background.
This is the card from which I got my inspiration. It was created by Renee Lewis and features several retired sentiment peg stamps and stencils we used to make. The colorful background was created with chalks.
