Instructions
The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base
in cream cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of
cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take
one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the
middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!
For the other cuts:
Cardstock – Cream
- 5-1/4″ x 4″
- Tag Die Cut
- Oval Die Cut
Cardstock – Green
- 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″
- Oval Die Cut
Stamp the Mini basket in brown ink at the center bottom of the cream cardstock. Stamp the Tiny Flower Bunch in red ink, clean the stamp and stamp again in blue ink. Stamp the Tiny Sprig in green ink, rotating the stems toward the flowers.
Color in the inside of the basket with a green colored pencil.
Stamp around the oval with the same stamps in the same color, leaving the bottom of the oval open. Rub the outside edge of the oval with brown ink. Using a brown colored pencil create a “ground” around the basket and go to the bottom of the oval. Use a yellow pencil to color in some of the sky. Glue the stamped oval to the green oval.
On a cream colored tag, draw the sentiment in a light pencil. Trace over with the ZIG Squeeze and Roll. Let sit to dry (turns from blue to clear). When it’s dry lay the foil, shiny side up on the glue and rub with your finger, then gently peel away. An alternative to this method is to run the tag through a laminator turned to the setting to “foil.”
Glue the oval to the card base. Rub the brown ink along the edge of the tag. Attach a green ribbon to the tag and then glue to the card base under the oval die cut.
For the envelope, use the same stamps and inks and stamp around the edge of the front of the envelope.
