The first thing that we will do is prepare our paper. We need an A2 base in white cardstock. So, to make the base cut an 8-1/2″ x 11″ piece of white cardstock in the middle at the 5-1/2″ mark on the long side. Then take one of those pieces and place on a paper scoring board and score in the middle on the long edge at 4-1/4″. Now, you have a base!

For the other cuts you’ll need:

  • Cardstock – White, cut to 5″ x 3-3/4″
  • Cardstock – Red, cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″
  • Cardstock – Gold, cut to 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″

Measure1-inch from either side on the short side of the white cardstock and mark it. Using a T-square draw a line across at both marks you made. This will be your stamping line across the card.

Using the StampRight Placement Line on the stamp, stamp the Mini Canyon Maple in Sunflower ink, rotating the stem of the leaf toward the line you drew – do this on both lines. You’re going to basically stamp the leaves across both the lines in a variety of inks, but here are the stamp and inks I used in the video.

Stamp the Mini Black Oak Leaf in Monarch Orange ink, once again rotating the stems of the leaf toward the line. Stamp the Mini White Oak Leaf in Leaf Green ink. Stamp the Mini Canyon Maple in Vermillion ink. Stamp the Tiny White Oak Leaf Small in Fern Green ink, then again in Vermillion. Stamp the White Oak Leaf Large in Sunflower ink. Stamp the Tiny White Oak Leaf Small in Monarch Orange.

Dry the stamped card and rub an anti-static powder all over what you’ve stamped. Mount and ink the sentiment in embossing ink. Stamp it between the two lines of leaves in the middle of the card. Ink the Mini Tendril Sprig in the embossing ink and rotating the stem toward the line you drew, stamp it throughout each section of leaves.

Sprinkle with Ranger Super Fine Embossing Powder, dust off any excess with a paint brush and melt with a heat tool.

Adhere 1/8-in Scor-Tape to the line that you drew to stamp on, clip ends with scissors and remove the backing paper. Sprinkle with embossing powder, remove excess and melt with a heat tool.

Apply glue to the back of the stamped card and adhere to the red cardstock, then adhere that to the gold cardstock.

For the envelope, draw a line 1-inch from the bottom front of the card and stamp across that line the same way you did on the card. Apply the anti-static powder, tape and emboss it the same as the card.
